DBE Awards Breakfast

Our colleague, now deceased was the former Director of the Minority Business Office for the City of Wilmington for more than 15 years.  His distinguished work in the field of minority business helped establish the City of Wilmington as a strong supporter in the field of minority business by promoting and advocating opportunities for small and minority businesses to receive procurement opportunities, training, development and other technical assistance for them to compete in the procurement process. In an effort to honor his memory and years of dedicated work, we are hosting the second Annual “Thomas J. Moyer” Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) “Achievement” Award.   The award will be presented to a DBE business and a Prime Contractor who has positively impacted the procurement of goods and services with DBE’s and or has obtained the highest percentage of utilization of DBE’s and locally based businesses throughout the City of Wilmington.
